Multiple writing, or multiscripturality, is used in many countries with different cultural influences. Thus several writing systems can co-exist, varying in system, form, or spelling. However, these two typefaces don’t coexist properly, because of their shapes, weights, axes, X-height, proportions ... I would like to make a reinterpretation of a Fraktur and an Antiqua (Roman), so both characters work visually together - thus questioning the role of the Fraktur in the contemporary typographic palette, in addition to Roman and italic.
